Police Discover N60m Indian Hemp In Kano House



The Kano State Police command has discovered 24,000kg of Indian hemp worth N60 million in a house at Ja’een Yamma area in Sharada quarters, Kano.
The Commissioner of Police, Muhammad Katsina, made this disclosure on Friday in Kano while presenting the drugs before newsmen.

Katsina said three suspects had been arrested in connection with the crime, while the principal suspect and owner of the drug, one Yusuf Ali, was now at large.
He said: “The house serves as depot for dangerous drugs as marijuana, cocaine, depressants and other dangerous intoxicants.
“It also serves as hideout for criminal gangs who consume these intoxicating drugs, get high and attack innocent people.”
