Following the Commands’ determination to weed the State of all forms of Criminal activities, the following arrests have been made during the last weekend.

(1) ARREST OF CULT GROUP
On 14/06/2015, operatives of the Command through a tip-off arrested twenty-five (25) black axe cultists from in and around the State who converged to hold their National Conference/Initiation in a bush around the Federal University of Technology (FUTO) area.
They are:

2) Alia Henry ‘m’ aged 22yrs of Obowo who is not a student
3) Kingsley Chijioke ‘m’ aged 25yrs of Oru East, Imo State
4) Isdor Chidera ‘m’ aged 25yrs of Orlu, Imo State
5) Ikechukwu Innocent ‘m’aged 20yrs of Oru East, Imo State
6) Amaobi Elvis ‘m’ aged 21yrs of Delta State
7) Godson Okafor ‘m’ aged 26yrs of Nkanu , Enugu State
8) Ezinwa Chigozie ‘m’ aged 25yrs of Anambra State
9) Onyewuchi Awujor ‘m’ aged 20yrs of Mbieri, Imo State
10) Francis Ibeawuchi ‘m’ aged 20yrs of Amaigbo, a school drop out

• One locally made cut to size gun
• One life Cartridge
• Expanded cartridges
(2) ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SYNDICATE
On 12/06/2015 and 13/06/2015, operatives of the Command through a tip-off nabbed a group of armed robbers believed to be responsible for series of armed robbery operations within Orlu and it’s environ. The syndicate who on the 24/04/2015 went and robbed one Igbozulike Investmnt of No. 125/126 International market, Orlu of the sum of Eight Hundred and Forty One Thousand Naira also struck at No. 26 Old Owerri Road Orlu and robbed the owner of phones and the sum of Eighty Thousand Naira (80, 000.00) and other valuables. In another incident, the syndicate also broke into a phone shop where they made away with fifty-five exotic phones valued at over Three Million Naira (3, 000, 000.00) which they later sold at give away prices to one Amaechi Okonkwo a phone dealer at the International market Orlu. In the same vein, the syndicate also robbed a card dealer and tile dealer both of Umuna Orlu of cash sum of Nine Hundred Thousand Naira and recharge card worth over Three Hundred Thousand Naira.
The syndicate is made up of the following:

(ii) Chinemere Onwuachumba ‘m’ aged 18yrs of Abara Okporo, Orlu L.G.A
(iii) Chibuike Ekezie ‘m’ aged 18yrs of Okwudor Njaba L.G.A
(iv) Arinze Iwe ‘m’ aged 19yrs of Umuebe Okporo, Orlu L.G.A
(v) Chinonso Nwadinigwe ‘m’ aged 23yrs of Abara Okporo, Orlu L.G.A
(vi) Ogochukwu Samuel ‘m’ aged 18yrs of Uburu Ebonyi State but residing at Orlu
(vii) Ebuka Obi ‘m’ aged 17yrs of Umuokwu, Owerri Ebeiri, Orlu L.G.A
(viii) Chimaobi Uzoahia ‘m’ aged 33yrs of Umuna Orlu L.G.A
(ix) Chidiebere Okamba ‘m’ aged 18yrs Amaifeke Orlu
(x) Okonkwo Amaechi ‘m’ aged 30yrs of Okporo Orlu L.G.A

• Expanded cartridges
• Two single barrel guns
• Three motorcycles
