A teenage boy has been jailed for life after he brutally raped and murdered his math teacher before dumping her body in the woods.
Philip Chism was 14 years old when he followed Colleen Ritzer, 24, into his high school toilets and stabbed her at least 16 times with a box cutter.
He also strangled and raped the young teacher, before wheeling her body through the corridors of Danvers High School in Massachusetts in a recycling bin.
Horrific CCTV footage captured the student pushing the blue bin toward woodland, where he buried Ms Ritzer, before returning from the area covered in blood.
Later that night, Chism went to the cinema and paid for a ticket with the teacher's credit card.
Now, the teenager has been jailed for life - with a minimum 40-year sentence - for the 'brutal and senseless' killing on October 22, 2013.

The prosecution had also asked for consecutive life sentences, not concurrent ones.
Chism was convicted as an adult in December of killing Ms Ritzer at the suburban Boston high school following a tutoring session.
Footage previously shown to jurors showed Ms Ritzer walking through the school halls to a bathroom on her way out of the building.
