Hulk Hogan loses contract with WWE over racist statement

Popular pro-wrestler, Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Bollea) has been fired by WWE following a leaked audio recording of the global super star using the n-word and calling himself a racist while talking about his daughter’s love life

Hogan who has not been free from controversy since 2012, when a sex tape involving the 61 year old was leaked has landed into a bigger trouble. In the transcript released by the National Enquirer, Hogan is reported to have said:
‘I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f***ing n***ers. But then when it comes to nice people and s**t, and whatever
. WWE ended their association with the hall of famer, and released a statement quoted WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (a.k.a. Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.

Hulk Hogan has apologized for the comments stating that he was disappointed in himself and deeply sorry. Apparently the conversation took place eight years ago.
