1 Killed, 6 Women Abducted In Adamawa Village In Fresh Boko Haram Attack
One man has lost his life and at least six women were abducted at Sabon Gari town of Madagali local government area when Boko Haram insurgents launched a fresh attack on the town.
Report from the area indicated that the insurgents invaded the town on Saturday forcing residents to flee into the surrounding
bushes as the insurgents fired randomly while many others sustained gunshot injuries.
A resident of the area, Mallam Musa said the insurgents arrived the village around 10pm and shot several people, resulting in the death of one person as many others sustained gunshot injuries.
Confirming the incident, the chairman of Madagali local government area, Maina Ularamu called on government to provide adequate security in the area in order to prevent the influx of fleeing insurgents to the area.
